Daniel Hechter was a pioneer to revolutionise prêt-à-porter by making it available and affordable to a wider public. Today, the brand is present in 65 countries and on all 5 continents in more than 600 mono-stores and 2.500 POS.

The brand Daniel Hechter was established in 1962 by the French designer Daniel Hechter.

Miltenberger Otto Aulbach GmbH has been a licensee of Daniel Hechter menswear since 1978.

The owners, the Aulbach family, have purchased the brand from Mr. Hechter on his retiring in 1998. Since then, the group headed by the Aulbach family is fully in charge of all products under the Daniel Hechter label except perfumes.

Miltenberger Otto Aulbach GmbH is still a licensee and covers the whole of Europe for men’s and ladieswear.
