San Diego Hat brings together design, material, and craftsmanship into three collections for men, women, and children. Always on trend, its hats can be recognized by a signature ribbon line. All items are easy to wear everyday staples. The brand’s global aesthetic and sense of humour often shines through.

The founders of San Diego Hat were inspired by a 1993 trip to Bali, Indonesia – defined as a beach paradise. The Original Cotton Crochet Hat blended a deep passion for world travel and an enduring love for hats. Although San Diego Hat has long outgrown its first home in a San Diego garage, the company remains true to the enthusiasms that prompted its birth. San Diego Hat currently sells in more than 3,000 specialty boutiques as well as at major department stores worldwide.

Brand's growth continues not only in terms of distribution, but also in production, with the opening of a new 50,000 square foot facility in Carlsbad, California and with the addition of two new lines complementing the original core collection. Four Buttons is a value-priced line of on-trend styles, while Bay Sky offers accessories that work well with head-wear.
